Clémence Polès Farhang is a Franco-Iranian photographer based in New York City. Raised between Sharjah and Dubai at the intersection of Arabic, Western, and Iranian cultures, her work explores identity, memory, and the intimate textures of everyday life.
In 2015, she began Passerby, an ongoing photographic and oral archive that has documented more than 300 women in their homes across New York, Paris, London, and Los Angeles.
Her photographs have appeared in Vogue, Mother Tongue, FAR–NEAR, Acacia, Anyone Girl, and New York Magazine.
